Residents of Muzaffarabad are busy buying new clothes and shoes for Eid ul Fitr which will be celebrated tomorrow.
Madina Market which is the biggest market in Muzaffarabad is fully overcrowded with people and police is also present at different spots for the protection of residents.
This year due to high inflation people are not able to celebrate Eid as they celebrated before especially those who are earning very less like labours.
We talk with one of the labour who was busy doing Eid shopping he said it’s difficult now to afford any extra stuff from his income as already the basic items of food are now too costly.
In some countries including Saudi Arabia and UAE Shawal Moon has been sighted and today residents of those countries are celebrating Eid ul Fitr which is celebrated on the first day of Shawal after ‘Ramadan’ a month of blessings.
